If we cannot help you clear the debt through MSU Internal Collections, your account will be referred to one of the following external collection agencies:

The prevailing collection rate will be added to the amount owed by the student.

If an attorney’s services are needed, the student shall be responsible for payment of the attorney’s fees plus all court and other collection fees incurred.

If you received notice that your account was referred to a collection agency, all payment arrangements thereafter must be made through the collection agency.

Important Registration Information:
Enrollment in a payment plan with an agency does not remove registration restrictions. Students will not be permitted to register for a future term until their account balance is paid in full at the assigned agency.
