Other Enrollment Costs
Beginning Fall 2025, college fees are additional charges applied to undergraduate students for their academic program of study. These fees are assessed to students who have reached their sophomore, junior, and senior levels across all campuses.
It is recognized that the cost of instruction varies between colleges and rates are based on the college's ability to effectively support the quality of instruction needed and the University's commitment to:
- Decrease class size
- Increase course offerings
- Upgrade and maintain laboratories
- Improve student services
College fees are calculated on a per-credit-hour basis with a full-time rate cap. The full-time rate is capped at twelve (12) hours per semester and is separate from overload tuition charges.

Over the course of the next year, we will focus on replacing many individual course fees with program fees. Program fees are designed to be distributed over the course of the student's academic career. Program fees continue to advance our goal of creating a more simplified, transparent and straightforward fee structure.
Program fees are additional charges used to cover costs associated with a specific academic program or course of study.

Course specific fees may be assessed in addition to the published tuition and mandatory fee rates, as applicable. These fees cover instruction-related services such as materials consumed by a student as a part of the course or which require the use of special equipment of facilities.
Courses offered through the Online Education campus may also incur distance fees. Fees vary by course and may be charged as either a flat fee or on a per-credit-hour-basis.
