How/When is financial aid applied to my account?
- Pending Aid will only be credited to your account balance (i.e., will be credited as Realized Aid)
when made available to and received by the University.
- Pending Financial Aid may be deducted from account balance / balance due before making payment.
- Service charges will not be assessed on the unpaid account balance up to the amount of pending
financial aid for the first 2 billing periods.
- If Pending Aid is cancelled or expires, that part of your account balance that was offset by pending
aid will become due and payable, and will become subject to service fee assessment.
- Pending Financial Aid does expire.
- Federal Family Education Loan Recipients: If a Federal Stafford Loan and/or a Federal PLUS
Loan Disbursement is a current payment on any monthly billing statement, you have the right to
cancel all or a portion of your Family Federal Education Loan within 21 days from the
statement date. If you wish to cancel your loan, please contact the Student Loan Office at
(662) 325-7437 for information on how to cancel.
